What WeHR does, and what stays with you
- Each employee’s PT follows the state of their branch, so people in different states are handled in one payroll.
- The special month and the yearly maximum are built in. If Maharashtra changes its slabs before WeHR does, enter your own in Payroll → Settings → Statutory rates → Professional Tax.
- WeHR gives the PT register by state for each month.
- Registering with the state, paying PT and filing returns stay with you. Check the due dates for your state in the compliance calendar.
